Another reason to be surfing on Facebook is the page: You might be from Quitman, Texas if you remember when (https://www.facebook.com/groups/244596198905170/).
It is rich with information about people and events which have happened in Quitman. I wish that someone would start separate pages like this for all the towns and communities in the county. Thanks to Jane Herring‘s work with this page and to all the others who have shared memories there.

Please go to Facebook.com and open an account. Then go to this page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/woocotx/ and subscribe or like. ( I forget what the button at the upper right of that pages says.) You don’t have to (repeat have to — all else is your choice or not) give Facbook much more information that your name and email address. Then you can let me know, and I’ll friend you.I’m no risk.
Also, you can post to that Facebook page just by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. (Note: I left out the d in Wood when I set up the email address) without having to join Facebook. You just can’t read all of those great posts others can leave on our very own Facebook page.
