The main research repository of the Wood County Genealogical Society is housed in the Genealogical Research Center of the Quitman Public Library, (website) 202 E. Goode Street, Quitman, Texas. The room in which the center is housed was given by Edith W. Uhl in memory of the Rev. John A. Williams and Minnie Kincade Williams.
