Query: Rochell

My grandfather orphaned by the Civil War left a poor area of northern Alabama and arrived in Wood County about 1881. His name: John Pinkney Rochell. A brother possibly settled there: Green Calvin Rochell. They took up farming near Winnsboro. Am interested in seeing the Last Will of J.P Rochelle ( or as he was sometime referred to as “Pink” or perhaps, “Pinkney“.) J.P. Rochell died April 1,1920 there in Wood County. He’s buried in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery. Rochell’s mineral interest at stake here. For details, contact: John R. Rochelle in Houma,LA at 985.872.0979.
