The Wood County Genealogical Society Genealogy Research Center is housed at the
Quitman Public Library, 202 E. Goode Street (Hwy 154), Quitman, Texas. The library is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Tuesday through Friday excluding holidays.

2012 Society Christmas Party

Members and guests celebrated the 2012 Christmas season with a party in the Shamburger Room at the Quitman Public Library on the third Monday evening of December. Special Christmas season quizzes, lots of great finger foods, a Chinese Gift Exchange, and lots of visiting and fun were shared by all attending.
