The June 5 Wood County Genealogical Society field trip to the Genealogical Collection of the Dallas Public Library is next Tuesday.
We will meet at the Quitman Public Library parking lot shortly before 8:00 a.m. and leave by 8 a.m. Please be prompt. We will car pool for those who do not wish to drive. Just be there before 8 a.m. We will leave the Dallas Library about 3: 15 p.m. to return to Quitman. We will visit the library collection and have time for doing research so come prepared to work on one of your brick walls or to look for more data on some ancestors or ancestral locations. Pencils and paper to write on will be useful.
You should bring a sack lunch and drink. A cooler will be available to keep drinks or any lunch items needing it for use on the trip. Also, this is an appropriate trip for wearing the WCGS shirts.

William, this is not very much info to go on to help find her. Did she have any connections to Wood County, TX, or your ancestors? Maybe some other members will have ideas to help you. We are a small volunteer group and it may take some time but be patient. WILL SOMEONE HELP? if so, please let me know. Thanks, Dorothy H P.S. ANYONE can reply, whether a Wood Co. member or not.
